The rules of the game, in plain words.
This is an English translation of the French terms, provided for information. In case of any difference, the French version at https://endoqueen.fr/cgu.html prevails.
1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of the EndoQueen mobile application, on iPhone and on Android. EndoQueen helps you note your pain, your cycles and your symptoms, prepare a PDF summary for your doctor and find general guidance on endometriosis and adenomyosis. A partner space lets your partner support you.
By installing or using the app, you accept these terms. If you are under 15, talk to a parent about it before using it.
On iPhone, Apple’s standard licence agreement (EULA) also applies. In case of any difference, these terms prevail, within the limits set by that agreement.
2. Subscription and free trial
- Her space (“Elle”: daily journal, PDF summary, Compass, reminders, Trying for a baby) works with the EndoQueen subscription, on a monthly or annual plan.
- The price is shown in the app before any purchase, in your currency and including all taxes. In France, for information: €3.99 per month or €29.99 per year (local prices are shown in your store).
- A 14-day free trial is offered for a first subscription, once only per Apple or Google account. It is started from the app, through the store.
- Payment is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), under their own terms. EndoQueen receives neither your bank details nor your identity.
- Unless you cancel, the first payment is taken at the end of the trial. After that, the subscription renews automatically for the same period and at the same price, unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- If the price changes, the store will notify you beforehand, in accordance with its rules.
3. Cancellation and refunds
- You can cancel whenever you like, without giving a reason: in the app (Settings, My account, “Manage my subscription”), or in your Apple or Google Play account settings, under Subscriptions.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, which has already been paid for. Cancelling during the trial avoids any charge.
- Refunds, including under the right of withdrawal, are requested from Apple or Google, which grant them according to their rules.
- Your data is never held back: after your subscription ends, your journal stays on your phone, readable, and you can still export your PDF summary, create a backup or delete everything. Only entering new days requires the subscription.
- Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription: remember to cancel it in your store account.
4. Partner space
Your partner’s app (the “Lui”, or “Him”, space) is free and complete, with no subscription or purchase. He keeps his own journal there and receives only what you choose to share. You can pause sharing or end the link at any time. Each of you undertakes to respect the other’s privacy and not to use the information received against him or her.
5. Non-medical content
- EndoQueen is a personal tracking and general information tool. It does not diagnose, does not offer treatment and does not replace a doctor.
- The Compass’s guidance is based on published guidelines (HAS, France’s National Authority for Health, 2017; ESHRE 2022) and remains general: talk to a health professional about it.
- In an emergency, call 15 [UK: 999] or 112 (by text: 114). Dark thoughts: 3114 [UK: Samaritans 116 123].
6. Your data
Your journal is stored on your phone. EndoQueen receives no copy of it, and the subscription requires no account. Everything is explained in the privacy policy.
7. Liability
- You remain in control of your phone, your passcode and the password for your backups. They cannot be recovered by EndoQueen: without a backup, a lost phone or a forgotten code can mean losing your journal.
- We do what is necessary for the app and the sync relay to work properly, but cannot guarantee that there will be no outage or interruption.
- EndoQueen cannot be held liable for a health decision made solely on the basis of the app.
- Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.
8. Intellectual property
The ENDOQUEEN trade mark is registered with the INPI (the French intellectual property office) by Paul Fontaine (application no. 5303534) and used by EasyIDEL. The name, logo, texts, illustrations and code of the app and the website are protected. Any reproduction without permission is prohibited. You of course keep all rights to what you write in your journal.
9. Changes to the terms
These terms may change. The version in force is dated at the top of this page. In the event of a significant change, the app will let you know.
10. Applicable law
These terms are governed by French law. If there is a disagreement, write to us first: we will look for an amicable solution. In accordance with applicable law, you may also use a consumer mediator free of charge. Failing that, the competent courts are those provided for by law.
11. Publisher and contact
