Two momentsOne journal

Before a diagnosis to look for answers, after one to keep track.

EndoQueen does not diagnose. It helps you reach the right professional with facts, then keep track of what changes.

You’re trying to find out what you have

You’re in pain, you’re told it’s normal, and you don’t know who to turn to. Note your pain and your signs over two or three cycles: the Compass shows you what keeps coming back and tells you when to talk to a doctor or a midwife. You arrive at your first appointment with dates, not memories.

You have a diagnosis

Endometriosis, adenomyosis, premenstrual syndrome: you track your pain, your treatments and what brings you relief. Before each appointment, your one-page summary shows what has changed since last time.

Your wordsThe findings

You say it in your own words. Your doctor reads their terms.

You write the way you speak. The app files each note under the sign that medical guidelines ask doctors to look for, and the summary shows it cycle after cycle.

NoteEvery day

One minute a day, then get on with your life.

Nothing to fill in on the day of your appointment. The app sorts, compares and prepares. In the middle of a flare-up, three taps are enough.

  • Pain from 0 to 10The pain scale your doctor uses, on a dial you turn with your thumb.
  • Where it hurtsA body map, front and back. And elsewhere, from 1 to 5: shoulder, legs, head.
  • Discharge and periodsTo place each cycle, even when taking the pill continuously.
  • Pill, taken or missedA reminder at your chosen time, with “Taken” right on the notification.
  • Medicines, by stepParacetamol, ibuprofen, antispasmodics: the app knows how to sort them for your doctor.
  • What brings you reliefHeat, gentle activity, rest, TENS, and “did it help?”.
  • Painful sexDiscomfort from 1 to 5, at the entrance or deep inside. It stays between you and your doctor.
  • Sleep and tirednessBroken nights say more about severity than a number does.
  • Food and alcoholGluten, lactose, a rich meal. The app looks at the next day, without drawing conclusions for you.
  • The dayWork or school impossible, plans cancelled, stuck in bed: what the pain took from you.

UnderstandThe Compass

Periods that stop you living your life are not normal.

The Compass puts your last three cycles side by side and shows you the signs that keep coming back. When a sign comes back in two cycles out of three, it suggests you talk to a doctor about it. The doctor decides.

See a doctor

A sign comes back in at least two of your last three cycles. Your summary is ready for the appointment.

Emergency

Fever with pain, feeling faint, very heavy bleeding, sudden pain: call 999 in the UK, or 112 or 999 in Ireland.

The Compass does not diagnose. It is based on the signs that the HAS (France’s National Authority for Health, 2017) and ESHRE (2022) ask to be reported.

ShowThe PDF summary

Everything your doctor asks you, on one page.

Your summary for the doctor prepares itself: weeks of tracking your painful periods and signs, readable in two minutes.

First page of an EndoQueen summary (in French): three months of daily pain on a colour-coded calendar, then the grid of signs by cycle.
  1. Pain day by dayFrom 0 to 10, on a calendar. You can see straight away whether it comes back with your period.
  2. Signs, cycle by cycleThe ones the HAS and ESHRE ask doctors to look for, with their source.
  3. What has been triedMedicines by step, heat, gentle activity, and what actually brought relief.
  4. Your questionsPrepared in advance, so you don’t forget anything in the consulting room.
You send it by email or print it. You choose who gets it.

Your cycleGreen and red

Green days, red days, that’s all.

No score, no percentage, no pressure.

In your calendar

  • Red: your periods, and the ones expected.
  • Green: your probably fertile days, calculated from your past cycles.
  • A positive ovulation test you note resets the green days. On the pill, nothing is calculated.

If you’re trying for a baby

  • A journal: tests, cervical mucus, temperature, to show your doctor.
  • Your green days for the current cycle and the next, as simple dates.
  • Nothing is shared with your partner, and no notification reminds you of it.

An estimate, for information only: it is not a method of contraception. For your plans, your doctor decides with you.

For partners

He doesn’t live the pain. He can live alongside it.

On his own phone, in a simple space, he keeps a journal: how he saw you, what he did to help, a note for you. You choose what he sees, and you can pause sharing whenever you like.

His journal
His observations add to yours. At the appointment, they help describe the difficult days.
A note for you
It appears in your journal for the day.
Understanding
The condition, painful sex, how to help without overdoing it, and looking after yourself.
Free for him
His space is free and complete, with no subscription on his side. Two women together? The partner space works just the same.

PrivacyYour data

Your body, your journal, your phone.

You pay for the app: your data is not the product.

What stays with you

  • Your whole journal: pain, cycles, symptoms, intimacy, sleep, notes.
  • No online account, and no EndoQueen server keeping a copy.
  • A passcode or Face ID locks the app, even if someone has your phone in their hand.
  • Your encrypted backup: a file protected by your password, which you store wherever you like, to get everything back on a new phone.
  • If you have turned on your phone’s backup (iCloud, Google), it contains a copy, just as it does for your photos.

What leaves, if you decide

  • The PDF summary, which you send yourself.
  • What you share with your partner, face to face by QR code or by syncing. The content is encrypted on your phones: our relay only sees an unreadable message, deleted as soon as it is received. His words arrive by a notification with neutral text that says nothing about what they contain.
  • Nothing else. No advertising trackers, in the app or on this site.

All the detail, in plain language: our privacy policy (in French). EndoQueen is not a medical device and does not diagnose.

Our storyWhy

EndoQueen was born in a couple who live with endometriosis every day. From appointments where you forget half of what you meant to say, and from a partner who learnt about the condition to really help.

I’m a nurse, a trainer, and a firefighter nurse. My work has taught me to observe, to measure pain, to pass on what matters in a few sentences.

But it was as a partner and as a parent that I really understood endometriosis. The nights when the pain wakes you. The plans cancelled. And those appointments where, once sitting in front of the doctor, you no longer know where to start.

EndoQueen is the tool I wish I could have given her sooner: a journal that turns weeks of pain into one clear page that the doctor reads in two minutes. And a place for us, the partners, who want to help without always knowing how.

Paul, nurse, founder of EndoQueen

CommunityAmong queens

You are not alone.

“Entre reines” (“Among queens”) is our support group: people share their experiences, their tips and their questions before an appointment, without judgement. Partners are welcome.

Join the group

NewThanks to your feedback

You asked for it, it’s in the app.

The first users told us what they were missing. Here is what has arrived since, included in the subscription.

  1. No periods at the momentContinuous pill, Ryeqo or medically induced menopause, hormonal coil, menopause, after surgery: the app stops predicting your periods and tracks your pain month by month. Bleeding that comes back is flagged in your summary.
  2. RelaxingTwo minutes of guided breathing, with your eyes closed if you like, with the sea, the forest or a stream in the background. And nature sounds to help you fall asleep.
  3. What stands out for youWhat is often noted on your days of severe pain, what brings you the most relief, the month-by-month trend and your difficult days in the cycle. Observations, without drawing conclusions for you.
  4. Your daily check-in by voiceA few one-word questions that you answer out loud, for the days when even writing is too much. Your voice is transcribed on your phone: nothing is recorded or sent.
  5. The good moments tooA kind word each day, your small wins noted in one tap, “All good” among the moods, and a map that shows you your calm days and what did you good. No score, no streak to keep up.
  6. Your steps and your sleep, day after dayIf you turn it on, the app reads your steps and how long you slept from Apple Health or Health Connect. A chart shows them day after day, next to your pain, so you can talk about them with your doctor. Read-only, on your phone.
  7. Placing your TENSA diagram for positioning the electrodes according to where it hurts, the starting settings and the precautions.
  8. Your plateYou put your meal together and a gauge tells you whether it’s good, fair or one to watch overall. A guide to balance, not a diet.
  9. Preparing for your appointmentYour PDF summary in one tap, a list of what’s best to bring, and your questions stored inside.

And since version 1.5: a Trying for a baby profile, a Fertility treatment profile and a Pregnancy profile, each with its own calendar and summary. An idea? contact@endoqueen.fr

QuestionsAnswers

What people ask us.

Can EndoQueen diagnose endometriosis?

No. EndoQueen helps you note what you’re going through and show it. Only a doctor can make a diagnosis, with an examination and imaging. The Compass only tells you when it’s time to see someone.

Is it normal to have very painful periods?

No, not to the point of stopping you living your life. The HAS (France’s National Authority for Health) recommends seeing a doctor if period pain is severe, isn’t eased by your usual painkillers or makes you miss school or work.

Which doctor should I see?

Your GP, a gynaecologist or a midwife. For confirmed, complex endometriosis, there are specialist centres. Bring your summary: it saves time.

How much does EndoQueen cost, and how do I cancel?

£3.99 a month or £29.99 a year (prices in Ireland are shown in euros in the store), after a 14-day free trial. Your partner pays nothing. If you stop, you keep access to your journal and your summaries. You can cancel in a few taps from the subscription settings in the App Store or Google Play.

How do I link my partner’s phone?

He installs EndoQueen and chooses “I’m their partner”. You, in Settings › “Link our phones”, create a code; he scans it or types it in. You choose what he sees, and you can switch it off at any time.

Where is my data?

On your phone. No online account, no advertising, nothing to sell, and no EndoQueen server keeps a copy. If your phone’s backup is turned on, it contains a copy. You can also create an EndoQueen backup encrypted with your password. If you link your phone to your partner’s, what passes between them is encrypted on the phones before it leaves.

Can my partner see my data?

Only what you choose: the day’s pain, periods, areas, calendar. Never your intimacy, your mood, your sleep or your notes. You can pause sharing at any time.

Does EndoQueen work out my fertile days?

Yes, simply: green days for probably fertile days and red days for periods, calculated from your past cycles. No score or percentage. It is an estimate, not a method of contraception, and nothing is calculated on the pill.

What if I lose my phone?

Create an EndoQueen backup from time to time: a file encrypted with your password, which you keep wherever you like (Files, iCloud Drive, Google Drive). On your new phone, you open it and everything comes back. Without this file or your phone’s backup, no one can recover your journal, not even us.

Does it work without periods or on the continuous pill?

Yes. Tracking is then done by month, and the summary flags unexpected bleeding and missed pills.

Can I use it at 15?

Yes. From 15, you can use EndoQueen on your own. Below that, a parent’s agreement is needed.
